. america's seniors are on the verge of losing access to health care. how? if congress and president obama don't act by january 1, tomorrow, medicare payments to physicians will be reduced, will be cut by nearly 27%. you see, mr. speaker, the fiscal cliff is more than just the tax increases that president obama so dearly wants. the effect of the s.g.r. formula means that physicians who treat medicare patients will be forced to limit the number of seniors that they see, fewer patients being seen, doctors forced not to see patients because of foolish washington policy. this jeopardizes health care for millions of folks. the sustainable growth rate, the formula used by medicare to determine physician reimbursement, needs to be repealed. it doesn't work for patients and it doesn't work for doctors. and it's destructive to the very principles that we hold dear about health care. it violates accessibility. it violates quality, and it limits choices, it harms real people. now, there are positive solutions that we're working on so we may responseably reform this broken system, but while we work to

successful, 2006, 2008 the republican congress took a beating. rom emmanuel hatched a plan to go after republicans with conservative democrats, and they took over the majority. nancy pelosi was put in as speaker. they passed obama care and all of this other stuff on the nation. but then in 2010 those moderate democrats or conservative democrats were defeated by conservative republicans who ran as pro life, pro marriage and smaller government and less taxes and that we have now the most conservative house of representatives in modern history. those issues win when they come from the heart as you have shown and then you can talk about them. the problem is we've got some republicans that only want to talk about these things at election time only to check the boxes and not because it eminates from the heart. >> it is going to be an interesting time to watch and see if the message continues to permeate in the leadership of the party. you are right. if it does, and the pro life and pro family voters who are by the way always fiscal conservatives, if they have no where else to go , they will

morning. i would like to make a general comment about the congress and the senate. somehow they have gotten off track for the american people. they need to bring jobs back to the united states. president obama promised in his campaign to lower the corporate tax rate, which i believe would bring some corporations back to set up their factories of in america and said of china, india, brazil. it just seems like congress and our leaders in general are trying to bring america down equal to the other nations of the world. i believe it is all headed for a one world government. they have to knock america down before they can get us equal with the other countries in the world. we are building the other countries up. it's a cinch to me like our leaders reject i agree with the last caller, there should be term limits. after they are in there so long, their interest is not in helping america. it seems to me like they are positioning for money in their own pockets or they become lobbyists. this secreted a law that they should not be able to become lobbyists for a few years sucker they leave congr

the obama administration on the key arguments in the case, was just as the commerce clause of article i although congress to pass the individual mandate, which says the individuals have good health insurance. as i sat in court on june 28th in her chief justice roberts announce a decision in the case, i learned the answer to that question, which was no, it doesn't. the commerce clause does not allow the court, the congress to invoke an individual mandate. but then in a decision that stunned many people, but no one more than me, john roberts reached for a subsidiary argument that had only been pending, only mentioned in passing that the supreme court and lower courts that the individual mandate is a permissible use of the taxing power of congress and not the commerce clause and thus the law could be upheld. a question of finance dissipate by. there were three main reasons. one is i think you have to take his opinion at face value. he simply thought of this legitimate use of the taxing power. i think the second and third are more important. the second and third -- the second is that john r

they are voting at state level and local level, you will get a different picture. we have a republican congress, a pretty conservative republican congress. people were comfortable voting for those folks. we look at governors, we have 30 republican governors now. so, many of the same people split their vote. they went for barack obama on the national level and when four republicans on local level. it is always more complicated. host: what is the future been like for the republican party? guest: we have no future. haven't you heard? we are done and finished. host: how do they deal on what seal -- guest: do have to argue for your point of view. i do not think we made a good argument at a national level. again, the argument was made effectively at the state level. there are 30 republican governors. that is a pretty big majority. there are a group -- majority of republicans in the house. at the national level, people can talk about whether the messenger was week, whether mitt romney was a great candidate and not. i did not think very many people think it was a great candidate. pit bull think he was
